GUIDE 06 / 06 · GROW

Measure what matters after launch

Use customer behaviour to choose your next improvement.

STEP 01

Start with the business outcome

Choose a meaningful goal such as qualified enquiries, phone calls, or bookings. A large visitor count is less helpful if people cannot find what they need or contact you.

STEP 02

Set up measurement deliberately

If you add analytics, confirm which service receives data and whether consent or a privacy notice is required for your setup. Test the integration. Do not describe events as tracked until you have verified them.

STEP 03

Review search performance

Use Search Console to review impressions, clicks, queries, and indexing. Compare equivalent periods and note when pages changed. A newly published page needs time to be discovered, and performance varies.

STEP 04

Improve one useful thing at a time

If a service page receives visits but few enquiries, clarify the offer and next step. If a question appears often in enquiries, answer it on the relevant page. Review the effect before making another major change.

STEP 05

Keep a simple maintenance habit

Check forms, broken links, business hours, domain renewal, and content accuracy regularly. Keep track of edits and save versions so you can identify what changed.
